The Baroque Society is a Copenhagen based baroque band. We highlight hidden musical treasures and works by female baroque composers alongside well known baroque classics. The band embraces a fresh approach to historically informed performance practice – sparkling virtuosity, playful improvisation and daring musical concepts. Together with our audience we want to find home to the music – poetry for heart and mind.
TBS was founded by Yngvild Haaland Ruud in 2024.

AVERI is a dynamic baroque duo based in Copenhagen, created by baroque violinist Jesenka Balic Zunic and harpsichordist Yngvild Vivja Haaland Ruud.

Their primary mission is to make works by female baroque composers much more known to the audience then it is currently the case.

AVERI would like to let the beauty, innovation and immense passion created by this so very special women from baroque time enchant the modern audience.
