Teaching
Whether you’re a singer preparing for an upcoming audition, an instrumentalist wanting to dive deep into the magical world of baroque and renaissance music, or simply in need of a thorough guide to French baroque ornamentation (or something completely different!) – I’d be happy to help.
About me
I’m Yngvild – a harpsichordist, ensemble leader, and baroque- and renaissance person. Alongside playing concerts, I frequently coach singers for baroque opera productions at the Royal Danish Theatre and do freelance work as a repetiteur for institutions such as the Royal Danish Academy of Music.
I’ve taught courses and workshops at music conservatories and for Concerto Copenhagen, and really love spreading the word about what HIP – historically informed performance practice – can offer you. Which is… freedom! (Who would have guessed?) Because real freedom doesn’t exist without knowledge. My task is to make that knowledge accessible to you – so you can dive into the wonderful world of baroque repertoire without fear, and with plenty of room for playfulness.
Practical
I teach from my studio in Copenhagen, close to Lergravsparken M.
As I have a limited number of teaching hours available, it’s a good idea to get in touch a little in advance to find a time that works.
Looking forward to hear from you!
