Join us for an evening in the magical Thessalian forests performing Handel’s iconic early work Apollo & Daphne. Greek mythology, metamorphoses, and Handel’s refreshing music. We might add some instrumental extras (a splash of Sammartini!) and a couple of hits from Saul – as well as some groovy bass impros… let us surprise you!

Apollo and Daphne is based on the Greek myth of the sun god Apollo, who is drawn to the nymph Daphne. His feelings are unanswered, leading to her fateful transformation – or metamorphosis, if you will – into a… laurel tree.
